Welcome to your CPD introduction to blogging, using Scribd, Youtube and integrating it all with Fronter.


We won't be able to do everything in 40 minutes but you at least can make a start and in your own time - if you have any - you can take this further.


I find blogs have become an essential part of how I teach, my students like than and use them regularly, I can keep track of what my students do, when they work and they can see how much or how little each other is working too. This element of competition seems to add a little frisson to classes.


There are some risks with using the internet and you need to spend some time looking at what security options suit you best, but the benefits outweigh these risks to my mind. You have to decide for yourself what works for you.
